I just got my braces off last week and since then my teeth have been super sensitive. I can’t enjoy popsicles or cold drinks like I used to. Is there a good toothpaste to reduce my sensitivity??

What is the most sedation you can have if you are getting cavities filled besides Novocaine shot for numbing and nitrous oxide. I know you can have some anesthesia when you get your wisdom teeth taken out and possibly some for other extractions like root canals but you have anestia when you are getting cavities filled? If so, is it a lot more expensive?

I saw on extreme makeover, where they took the caps off of a woman’s front teeth and for some reason her teeth had been eaten away behind the caps! It looked really gross. Wouldn’t veneers do the same to you teeth? What are the differences between caps and veneers?

I have neglected my teeth in the past and i am brushing more often now but my teeth are still kind of yellowish looking. I want to try one of those over the counter teeth whitening strips or something but I don’t know which one to try since i don’t really have a lot of money. Any tips…ideas?

I can easily get training in England because my parents are dentists but I am not sure what qualifications I need for either England or America to become a dental nurse

Are they different or if I was a dental nurse in England would I then be able to carry on when I move to America and be a Dental Assistant?

Please give detailed answers, I don’t care how long the answers are so long as they give me all the details I need

And please, don’t tell me I am too young to be planning my life out because usually on Yahoo Answers, do that and try to get people to change their mind and I am not the type of person to listen to that stuff

I have heard some dentist claiming that porcelain veneers are actually stronger than your natural tooth structure (enamel), is that true?

I am finding it hard to believe it to be honest.

I have had very chapped lips for 8 years with no healing! I did an allergy test like 8 years ago and it said i was allergic to merchurcrome which has mercury. Could i be allergic to my fillings which contain mercury?
