We got a voice mail today that said "hi this is Amber from the dental office just reminding you of your appointment on Wednesday June 9. I called her back and asked why she’s calling my house so far in advance and we never missed an appointment, and she goes oh its standard procedure to call 3 months in advance, and then 2 months, then 1 month, then the week of the appointment. I dont want them calling all those times! What can I do

I am in Pasadena, California. Are there any doctors who give discounts? Unfortunately, due to company policies, I can enroll myself in the company provided dental insurance policy only next year .

Would a certificate in dental assistance be enough to get me a job at a professional dentist office, not a doc in a box? Then I would like to become a dental hygienist. I currently have an associates degree in Culinary and BS in Culinary management. Please give me as much info as you can.
O, and I am male. Would that help or hurt me in a job interview. I know that I will be in a professional environment, but people will be poeple and there are not alot of males in this profession.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I am interested in becoming a dental hygienist. Does having a degree decrease your chance of getting in?
My friend told me that students with a Bachelor’s degree are at a disadvantage because:

-many students are not able to get the financial aid that they need and end up dropping out later

- that they prefer those from community college because "they need a chance".

PLEASE TELL ME, WHAT DO YOU THINK?
