Not much income; Dental plan was crappy so Dad didn’t even bother. How can I get care for my teeth?

We don’t have much income, we have small amount of SS and then income from Dad’s job but no dental insurance because it didn’t really even cover anything. I think it was like 10%? My teeth are in pretty bad shape. I take care of them but not being able to go to the dentist for 4-5 years is not the greatest. What can I do? How can I get help paying for dentist?

try to look for a dental school in our area OR try to look for a dentist that takes low income patients. I know of one here in Louisiana and they base your bill on your income. This helps out great with people who dont have insurance.
Try to look for a dental school and be a volunteer for dentistry students. They can put braces on you, teeth bleaching, filling, etc. Hope you get the best student!
Also you can look for a job and save enough money for dentist.
Or try to find employment in a dentist’s office. Maybe they’ll give you dental insurance or free dental work as part of your compensation or salary. Good luck!
