Hi,
No, and No.
There are many studies conducted by different organizations that have concluded that there is no evidence that amalgam fillings cause any harm or disease.
The silver and mercury in them form an alloy that does not release either to the individual.
Bad breath is caused by bacteria in the mouth that produce hydrogen sulfide and other byproducts and is commonly seen in mouths that have oral hygiene problems, gum disease with deep pockets, not flossing, not cleaning the tongue, etc…
I am not aware of any studies that have linked Alzheimer’s to amalgam fillings.
I don’t place amalgams in my practice, but not because they are not safe. I have many amalgams in my mouth, some that were placed when I was 15 years old and I am 56 now.
Hope this helps.

mercury fillings?
you’re kidding, right?
fillings are not made of mercury.
mercury is very poisonous so i would say that you have either got it wrong or …
NO. They are perfectly fine! And to make the correction they are not mercury fillings they are amalgam fillings. They only have a small amount of amalgam in them. They are very strong compared to composite or resin (tooth colored fillings) If they were bad for you or caused alzheimers they would not be allowed.
