Why are some veneers strong and others weak?
I’ve been contemplating getting veneers on my two front teeth. I have two friends who have them as well. One of them has a great set of veneers… she bites into apples and they don;t crack. Then my other friends bites into a cheeseburger and they pop off…. Is there a difference? How strong/weak are veneers? Why does this happen?

Veneers can be done two different ways the cheaper version of veneers is done with composite the same material fillings are done with they are set by light and are a plastic material if biting into an apple or anything hard they can easily break but are easily fixed with the same material again but you are taking the risk of them breaking of the other option is like a veneer crown made out of porclin and are made in a lab the veneer type crown is placed over the tooth structure and is much stronger but is also much more expensive !
