Does all Dental school required an interview before getting accepted in? I am talking about dental school in California. I mean its not really fair if they interview you and judge u on your appearance.
I need a lot of work done in my mouth.. but i fear i will just have to keep getting teeth pulled until i have none left.. do you think a cosmetic dentist would be able to help me to keep my teeth? Would just getting them all filed down and getting veneers help me to save my teeth? if i did that would i still need to have root canals and crowns put on?
Okay, so i’m 23 and getting braces in two weeks. My orthodontist had four molars (they were bad and capped and filled) removed along with a baby tooth. However, i had to have an oral surgeon remove them and he knew it was for braces. However, i’ve read other places that the surgeon puts a bracket on the adult tooth that is still hiding while your under, but he didn’t do that for me? What is the next option? I dont want to have to go under again, that was not pleasurable!!

I would like to start a Dental Charity for people who just can’t afford to pay for it themselves. I would like it to be non exclusive and no income or age requirements. I have no idea even how to begin but I feel there is so many people in need and they don’t fit the typical requirements for help and lets face it dental care is extremely expensive. How do I start? How do I get people like me to help? I need to know all the basics and any tips people might have for me.
i will be ending school soon and i would like to know what p/t dental assistants make because the f/t schedule is so hectic i think the p/t would be more fitting for me
I am in medical malpractice settlement negotiations with a dentist. Her insurance company was handling the negotiations, then the dentist license expired and the insurance company dropped the dentist. The dentist obtained a new policy from a new insurance company. Now the original insurance company has dropped out of negotiations. Is it possible that the original insurance company wants me to file suit against the dentist, and then the new insurance company will have to defend the dentist? Or, because the first insurance company received the initial settlement letter with notice of intent to sue, they will have to carry on and defend the dentist even though they no longer have the dentist as a client. Please clarify the typical procedure in this type of situation. Thanks a million! N.
Thanks for the info. I do have an attorney. But I do not want to sue and want to settle. The original insurance Co. made an offer, then we countered..then the Ins Co. dropped the dentist, and did not responded to the counter offer. SO, of course the attorney wants to sue cause he will make the big bucks. I want to settle because we were on track to settle. I just can’t figure why the original insurance company would want to go to court unless they really don’t care one way or another because the dentist is no longer a concern to them in the long run??? Tks. for you input.
i keep a little book of everything that i eat. and for the past two weeks i havent really eaten anything at all.
and what i have eaten ive tried to throw up. i know what im doing , im trying to loose weight and its working so far. i lost 20 pounds in one week. i cant be talked out of it. i have tried excercising and eating right, i even had a personal trainer for a long time. nothing works. this is the only thing that has ever worked.
when im forced to eat with my family, i always try to throw it up. and im really afaraid that my teeth will suffer.
how many times of purging does it take to ruin your teeth.???
please no one try and talk me out of it. this is not what i want for myself. i want to be a healthy weight . and beable to find nice clothes.
