I’m trying to decide between dental assistant or hygienist… I am wanting to work in orthodontics or cosmetic dentistry. What is the route to take ?
I am a California resident and looking for a Dental Plan only without having Health Insurance.
But I heard that if you are CA resident, you have to have a Health Insurance in order to have a Dental Insurance.
I am wondering if it is true or not.
I just had a tooth extraction at 3:11 pm at 4:00 pm I had a fever. Actually, before going to the dentist I already feel feverish, so I think my tooth extraction is not the reason why I had a fever.
Now, my molar tooth that was extracted has been bleeding for nearly 13 hours. Is this normal?

I’m quite allergic to mint & mint flavoring (spearmint, winter mint, etc.). What teeth whitening products are available without mint and still work?
I’ve found a lot of products that just list "flavoring" and still have mint in them, so it makes reading ingredients difficult. So, I’m looking for personal experiences. Thanks everyone!
i recently had 2 x-rays done without knowing i might be pregnant and now i’m worried i am pregnant and have now caused harm to the baby. is it possible? the first x-ray i had a protective shield over me but the second one was a standing x-ray. could that do alot of harm? i would only be about 2weeks pregnat or less. but still.. i’m hoping it’s a false alarm and i’m not pregnant.
Can I get it re-bonded? do u need some other kind of dental thing? the chip is on my front tooth and it takes up about half my tooth.

most of the time im freezing… then sometimes i am freezing and then suddenly the next minute im really hott.
Also, now that ive been pregnant my gums are really sensitive and bleed when i brush. This never happens to me and i have never had a cavity or anything…. is this from being pregnant?
Is this normal?
I got a bunch- like 20- at a dental college where I got a free cleaning. Then got exam at dentist withxray a month after. Now the clinic just called and offer me free services this week and will require xrays….
