This will depend on where you live. In Ontario Canada it is around $14 for one, $25 for 2 bitewings (cavity detection xrays taken on a regular basis) and $45 for a panorex (big xray taken with machine that rotates around your head that is used for checking for unerrupted teeth, cysts and other oral phenomena)
Wow – I sure wished I lived in Ontario! Last week I got the bitewings done for $50 for the pair here in Calgary.
Single x-ray of the entire tooth, including root – between $15 and $20.
Look for an office offering digital x-rays. Even though the equipment is initially more expensive, they are not using film, developing solution, and time in a dark-room.
I’m $20 for the first and then $15 for each successive at the same visit.
I charge $90 for a panoramic x-ray.
I think my fees are pretty much typical of the nation for x-rays.
