Is Sodium fluoride 0.243% the same as (0.15% w/v fluoride ion)? Are they the same amount of fluoride? The reason I ask is because I saw the following listed for 3 toothpastes, and need to know if they have different amounts or kinds of fluoride, see below and please tell me which is the best for fighting cavities and which is the least effective for fighting cavities based on the ingredient listed for each below:

One of my teeth has been hurting for at least 24 hours, on and off. I brushed it with Sensodyne, didn’t work. I’ve taken at least 4 or 5 Ibuprofen in 24 hours, it helped for a little while, but the pain came back. I also took an Aspirin, but that didn’t hold it off either. I’m running out of options. How do I make the pain go away?
No health insurance for a dentist.
It’s an incisor…I don’t think you can get a root canal done on an incisor.

Whiting fluoride

brush with sensodyne (3 min)

Pro health fluoride
then
whiting strips

someone told me that my teeth will fall out if i dont stop

I have recently had a problem with my back teeth(or gums) hurting from time to time. Ive searched a bit how to cure it, tried chewing cloves(disgusting), salt, pepper and i really need further advice. Also, im either imagining or my gums are pulling away. But thats not for sure. I started using Sensodyne tooth paste.

my dentist told me to use sensodyne toothpast 2 c if that helped. it did 4 about 2 days then the pain came bac and its really painfull now, i woke up this morning and can barely move my jaw, could the pain in myjaw be from the pain in my front tooth and does anyone know what it is

I have been suffering with pain both top and bottom – can’t decide where it is coming from – on the left side of my mouth. Have been to the dentists four times now – this has been going on for 18 months intermittently. Last time she xrayed all top teeth on the left and said there is no decay – they are all vital. She thought it was the back tooth which has very little enamel on it. She put some gel on it and advised Sensodyne Pro Enamel toothpaste. It quietened right down and has just been a bit sensitive for a couple of months. But now it’s back again – four sleepless nights. It is worse when laying down and seems to pulsate a bit. Then in the daytime it goes from a dull ache to nothing and back again. Any ideas what this may be? I am so totally desperate for help – my old dentist who I trusted implicitly retired last year and this new one is very nice – from Poland – but I don’t know whether she is on the right track or not. HELP!!

I usually have one tooth in my mouth that’s VERY sensitive to heat and cold, but nothing that I couldn’t handle, until yesterday. When I woke up, that tooth (in the bottom left side of my mouth) started throbbing in pain, and every few seconds would kinda sting a little… What’s going on? Sensodyne never really worked on it and I couldn’t sleep all night becuase of it!
