I have this little white indentation on the top of my molar. Whenever I apply a lot of pressure on the tooth, it hurts. It also hurts a bit when eating cold drinks. Is there anything I can do while I wait to go to the dentist?

I discovered that I need some dental work done and went to a dentist today for diagnosis. I want to go to another dentist or two to get some more opinions. Is is safe to have x-rays taken at each of these places? Please advice me if someone knows. Thank you!
Thank you, all! I will ask the assistant to email to the other place once I get an appointment. I hope they will, when I asked today, all I got was a small printout of all of them on one sheet of paper.

Just got my braces off yesterday morning and I got my retainer at about 4 oclock yesterday. My teeth are really sensitive and I cant really chew things right now. Is this normal? Will it go away? AND, when will I be able to talk normal with the retainer in? I have like a freaking lisp!

A few of my front teeth are really sensitive too hot and cold things. It hurts when the material flows through or if I bite into it. I’m 13 and I’m having a checkup soon so i will know if i have cavitys or not but is it common too have sensitive like i do at my age. I also have white bits that are on the outer tips of most of my molars-what is this?

The only two teeth that are sensitive is my right k-9 one and the one directly below it?
It only happeneds sometimes and when it happends they are sensitive to pressure. like why i bight down and i wanna know why. I go to the dentist ever 6 months like recommended so i just wanna why they do this?

recently I have felt a little sensation, I wouldn’t call it pain at all when I eat. it feels like I bit down on something hard. Is this decay? I am planning on calling my dentist on monday. Is it possible to get a filling on a retained baby tooth?
I should have mentioned that I am 36 years old and no plans have been made to extract it. I just get comments from my dentists who say basically that for as old as it is, it is doing well, not sure what that means. Would decay happen that quickly? Also, I am assuming that there is no tooth to replace it, given my age.
reading over the question I realize I made a big booboo! What I meant to say was that my last dental xrays which were taken 2 and a half months ago showed NO decay. sorry!
