I’m taking another jab at this for a good answer, prefer answers from insurance professionals but all answers welcome
I got a letter from wells fargo about health discount plan….i don’t have ins is this any good? it says its good for medical care dental vision prescriptions alternative care chiropractic care….. only for 22.95/mo for me and my husband?
i know its not a insurance but i was just wondering if its good to have
I am in need of some pretty major denatl work, however i have no insurance. I see these plans on the web specifically the ge wellness plan for dental only. the rates seem to be great but it also makes me question whether or not its too good to be true. they also list many dentists in my area with their addresses and phone numbers so it seems that it may be legit.. but im still weary.
anyone ever actually use one of these discount plans for dental and found it actually does it they claim?? i had a root canal done on another tooth last yer that i paid out of pocket and there is absolutely no way i can afford that again right now.

ive tried to apply for care credit and i was rejected. and pretty much every dentist ive called around my area doesnt do payment plans now im desperate. this is my last resort
Is this a way to further rob the patients or make medical care more difficult? Dentist is doctor too. No one can deny that. Why not have separate insurance for gastro-enterologist, separate insurance for urologist, neurologist, podiatrist, etc etc.? Since that’s not possible then why not include dentist in medical coverage too? I think this is a way to further increase health care costs, as double premiums would be paid (for medical and dental) and double deductibles while making it tougher to get smooth coverage
The reason I asked is because I have read the bad oral health can damage physical health severely. For example a dental ailment named periodontitis is linked to heart disease, stroke and early death. Some dental problems can affect kidney functioning as well. They can also cause lung problems.
i need help finding dental coverage for my family. lost job last year and need dental work done in near furture. does those discount cards really work? will they cover pre-existing conditions. can i use them at an oral surgeon office. Help me in Texas… thanks
Took my braces out a couple years ago, had some financial problems and now i need to get back to my treatment and get braces, i have some cavities, need to clean and whiten, I dont have any health/dental insurance and i dont have money to pay for it without insurance, i was thinking on getting insurance but im not sure how much i’ll pay montly and if it will be worth it (save me some money, I dont really understand how insurance works =[ sorry) Can someone help me out?
Hi, I just received my insurance card from Horizon blue cross. On the card it says
Annual Maximum 00
Orthodontics Maximum 25
Does this mean I will get a 25 discount if I want to get braces?

I really don’t have the money to see a dentist, but I have sharp pains in my teeth that I need to get fixed. I really don’t want to have the tooth extracted. Where can I get good, kind of cheap insurance?
Am looking for health/dental insurance for my family in Colorado. My husband also has a kid in Florida and one in New York he has to have covered. We opened our own business and are looking for him to quit his job within the next 6 months. Any suggestions??
