I’m quite allergic to mint & mint flavoring (spearmint, winter mint, etc.). What teeth whitening products are available without mint and still work?
I’ve found a lot of products that just list "flavoring" and still have mint in them, so it makes reading ingredients difficult. So, I’m looking for personal experiences. Thanks everyone!

I’m a teacher, but not under any unusual amounts of stress. I don’t grind my teeth. I’ve had this for 2 months, but just got much worse this weekend. I just got back from ER, but they just gave me pain meds…no explanation. I’m following up with a primary care doctor, but any ideas? Anyone experienced this? Thanks for any help.
Oh…..headache is located on to the right and a little above of my right eye, "toothache" isn’t a specific tooth, but a general pain above the right top molars. Thanks again.
I did see a dentist, felt pretty silly when they told me nothing was wrong.
My wisdom teeth were taken out when I was a teen. I appreciate all of your thoughtful suggestions & insights so far.

Long story short, my current Dentist messed up my bridge work that was done 7yrs ago (not by him) He was on vacation the week after it happened so I had to see the Dentist that works with him. In less than 30 seconds, she remarked that I needed a new bridge. Anyway I don’t trust the Dentist who did this and I want to go to a different place. I called today and ask for the copy’ss of the x-rays taken 3 times in 3 months of that bridge so my new dentist had something to go by. I said I had no problem paying but I was told they can’t give me them. Maybe I am wrong but I thought I had a right to all my medical reccords & especialy if they are for another Dentist, to better help him understand the problem.

I was just curious how long does it takes to get a job as Medical Coding & Billing after graduation from a vocational program? I would be looking for a job in Illinois and how much to start without experience?

Hey Everyone,
I got my braces off about a month ago. Though I am pretty happy with the results, I have a tiny gap between my front two teeth and another one along the side.
Heres a picture http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=5bxkxs&s=7
The gap has gotten a little bigger. Would Tooth Bonding be a solution, if so how much do you think it would cost since it is very small gap?
Thanks!

My orthodontist thinks I have TMJ (a joint dysfunction in your jaw) & my jaw constantly locks all the time. I have a part in the school play where I have to sing in the upper octave so I need to create more space in my mouth. I’ve always had trouble with this but I decided to see if there’s any techniques I could use to help me. Thanks.

I have read online that it could be due to a small piece of bone/root that wasn’t removed with the wisdom tooth. My question is how can you tell if it’s due to bone? Would a small bone show up on a x-ray?
FYI – I had my wisdom tooth removed about 7yrs ago. The discomfort has been off & on for about 4yrs. It’s never really that bad and usually goes away after a few days.

The tooth that had a root canal has broken (had it done like 9 years ago). The back & middle part broke off at the gum line, while the front part (the part near your cheek) is still there. If I have to haven an extraction, how bad is the pain since the tooth & nerves are dead?

I am scheduled to have my upper left wisdom tooth extracted next Monday. I am very nervous. It is not impacted, and I will be keeping my other 3 wisdom teeth. The one getting extracted has decay and is broken. I will be awake for the procedure. (I was given the option of IV sedation but the oral surgeon said he thinks all I need is oral sedation so he gave me a presciption for a sedative called Halcion that I am to take 1 hour before the extraction, and an antibiotic that I will be starting the day of the extraction.) The surgeon warned me that I may feel about 20 pounds of pressure while he is extracting the tooth, which sounds so frightening to me. He also warned me that the tooth will probably break as he pulls it. I am very nervous and don’t know what to expect during & after the procedure, and if I should be worried about any side effects with Halcion. Also I have a very senstive gag reflex and am wondering if I should be worried about that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
