Alright, I’ve always had insurance through my job, but I moved an am just going to be working part time..so I am looking for health insurance.
My uncle thinks "the best thing for me is to be protected a major claim, because of my age go with a lower cost monthly plan a month." Blue Cross & Blue Shield have one for 9, which included dental.
It is there PPO Select Choice (I-VIII)- Blue Choice or Blue Card Preferred Provider Organization
Lifetime Benefit- No Limit
Office Copay-
Out-of-pocket Limit- Deductible plus 3,000
Prescriptions- Gen, Pre, and Non- Preferred.
Deductible is 5,000, 80 % coverage
I could get Cobra coverage from the last employer but, it would cost me 5 per month- ouch, granted we did have, very good insurance. I’ve always been with BlueCross and BlueSheild, but anyway, do you think this a is a good deal? Or should I shop around more?
I might add, I think why my uncle said this was because he knows I have access to money, heaven forbid if something happens and I need to pay the ,000 deductible.
I have the funds to pay up to 350-400, my uncle asked him to send him what I had found…and that is what he told me.
I really don’t go to the doctor that much, I did however have an ‘urgent care clinic’ visit. But other than that, I’ve never been the one to go to the doctor. I really just get birth control with it. I’;m a worry wart and just want insurance for the ‘heaven forbid’ moment.
