Hello everyone, thanks for reading my question!

Alright, well, one of my lateral incisors (I looked at a tooth chart because I have no idea what tooth is named what, so hopefully this is the right one… should be the one right next to my front two teeth), the one on the left side is somewhat pushed back from the rest of my smile. This makes it appear smaller in photos and the two front teeth cast a shadow over it in photos too which gives it a discolored appearance!

Now I know I should just get over it, but I’ve always wanted a nice smile and I’ve felt that this one tooth is ruining my smile. It’s otherwise straight. I’ve never had braces or cosmetic dentistry done. I asked my mom about it and she said I should get over it because it’s just a tooth, but I really does douse my confidence sometimes.

I looked it up and a single porcelain veneer costs upward of 0! I don’t even know if a veneer could fix the problem anyway..

Well my main question (after all my bickering, lol) is could I perhaps remove a tooth from the back to create more space and help this tooth not be so cramped in my mouth? My dentist says I have a pretty small jaw, and I’m wondering if the best way to fix this problem is to have a tooth pulled so my teeth may space themselves out a bit. My wisdom teeth are starting to come in too, but not on that row.

So here lemme restate the questions…
1) Can tooth removal create more space in my smile and
2) How long will it take for my teeth on that side to space

Not even sure if teeth actually do that… it’s just what I’ve heard…

And if you have any suggestions that are frugal and pocket friendly, please voice them!

I hate my teeth and smile so much, I had braces for about 4 years, And I don’t know why but My teeth are so SMALL! And really weird like see through looking in some places of them, since they are so small when I smile you get ALOT OF GUM and I hate it! I’m just wondering how much they cost? And what all they can do?

My orthodontist said i may have gum disease because my gums have inflamed heaps and are growing on my braces

it’s impossible to floss with swollen gums so how can i take care of my teeth and gums. And also does that mean i have that disease for the rest of my life or can it go away?????

I brush my teeth everyday and i use mouth wash but i dont floss :/

I recently went to the dentist after a strike out of not going for over about 4 years. It was pretty bad, and my current state is dental restore.

I have to have fillings, pretty sure I’m getting the composite resin colored ones. (Pretty much on all my teeth I need a filling)
Most of my cavities are under the gum line and come out from it, so I guess near the roots, only one or two are actually ontop or not near the roots/gum line.

It was hard enough going for a exam and cleaning. I guess I’m phobic you could say. I’m extremely nervous and worried about my next visit which is in a week and is the fillings.

I don’t know what to expect about what their going to do, I’ve read up on the fillings themselves and I’m pleased.

Also my teeth are highly sensitive, when I got my cleaning they did use a numbing gel, but for my cavities teeth, pain shot sharply through my tooth and seemingly to my roots.

Any advice,tips,stories would be appreciated!

My dentist so far seems very nice, I only got to speak with him for a brief moment, my hygienist did the cleaning and everything else, although she could use a few smiley face stickers. I don’t think my dentist does the relax, dope you up stuff. Because before hand I explained to them how nervous/phobic I was and how sensitive my teeth were at this state and all I got was a numbing gel.

I’m brushing 3 times a day with toothpaste, and brushing in between meals without tp. Flossing once a day, and using special little brushes to help with the flossing. Also using mouth wash once a day and it has fluoride.

But my gums are still very red and sensitive, and bleed alittle bit after brushing. I need braces and its really hard to keep the plaque off and out of all the crevices.

My anxiety is mostly over, the pedicure, the pain, the after experience.
I’m phobic of needles and blood, hate the taste and seeing it, sometimes I faint

I have really big 2 front teeth! and i was wonderin if invisalign will make them a little smaller? if not will braces? if not what can i do to make them smaller! i feel sooo uncomfortable smiling!

ok so i really really want braces and i plan on getting them sometime this summer before school starts. my mom was also telling me how we have a really good insurance and she gets some kind of a discount by her workin in the district. so how much does braces cost with insurance?

i’m trying to get braces? i’m look for a dental insurance or plan, that will save me money. anyone have ideas i prefer advice frome people who’ve actually had to get a a plan for dental cost. any of them cover those invisialign braces. thank you.
