I am a California resident and looking for a Dental Plan only without having Health Insurance.
But I heard that if you are CA resident, you have to have a Health Insurance in order to have a Dental Insurance.
I am wondering if it is true or not.

I’m a 20 year old college student in Florida. I’m pregnant and I have medicaid… The baby also has Medicaid, but I might need to add her onto my dental insurance later?

I’m looking for dental insurance because I haven’t seen a dentist in like 4 years, although I had no cavities then and have never had cavities before, but I now have little black spot in a couple of my teeth that are probably cavities. :( No pain though.

I also want braces (orthopedics) but I’m sure I’ll have to pay misty out of pocket for this. But I’d the insurance will cover part of the cost that would be great!

Help???
The website "insurancehealthquotes.info" did not work…
That website is about jobs. No serious answers? This is ridiculous. I want info about a REAL dental plan. I guess y!a was not he place to go.

Can you have two dental insurances and a dental plan?

My dentist told me today that I would be a good candidate for invisalign express treatment (this is not the first time this has been suggested to me by a dentist). However, delta dental insurance does not cover orthodontic treatment. My dentist quoted me a price of 00.00 for the treatment. So I was thinking about purchasing another dental insurancethat covers orthodontic treatments and a dental plan to knock off the rest of the cost. I looked online to find a dental plan that discounts orthodontic procedures and I found this one: http://www.dentalplans.com/dentalplans/orthocarehome.asp?zipcode=46311.
Now I just need to find a dental insurance that covers adult orthodontic treatments.

Can you use 2 dental plans for braces?

I was wondering, is it possible to use 2 dental plans to cover the cost of braces? My moms dental plan covers 50% of the cost, and my dads dental plan covers 50% of the cost, the 2 plans are from different companies.

I live in Canada and I am 15 years old

If I can only use 1 plan, is there any other way to lower the cost of braces? I don’t think my parents can afford them right now, though im not sure.

dental plans versus cash payment?

which one is better?

i am looking at some dental plans online, a monthly fee is about or so, then for one amalgam one surface, it only costs .

but if i go to a low cost clinic, they told me that they charge for one filling.

so it seems that it is actually cheaper to buy a dental plan even just for one month? that sounds too good to be true.

so i am kind of confused now. thanks.

Dental work while on maternity leave…?

I’m currently on EI for illness (health troubles related to the pregnancy) and switching over to maternity leave within the next month. I’m going to need some dental work done soon but I don’t have any kind of dental plan or coverage, and I’m wondering if there is some way that employment insurance will cover the cost of that?
I’ve heard that ei covers dental work up to 0 yearly, but I don’t actually know if this is true or how to set that up so that I can go to the dentist, as I don’t have the money to pay for the work right now

Should I enroll in a Health Savings Account?

Right now at work I’m enrolled in an HMO Plan as well as a dental plan. I am a 30 year old single male with no health problems at the moment. I only go to the doctor for a yearly physical, and I go to the dentist twice a year for a cleaning (I’m not sure if the dentist part is relevant). I’m paying almost ,000 in medical and dental premiums combined, plus co-payments of when I go for a physical.

Would the HSA offered by my employer make sense for someone like me? I figured that even if the total yearly cost ends up being the same, at least that money will be mine and not lost to the insurance companies, plus I will get contributions from my employer. Am I thinking about this in the right way, or should I be considering other factors as well?

Is $47,000 for an IT job underpaid?

I make ,000 pretax working for an international corporation in the IT industry. I am a year out of college and was making this before the recession. It includes a full health and dental plan with low co-pay. No matching 401k, though. I continually see online median salaries for this kind of job in the high 50k and 60k. I’m not going to ask for a raise as the economy and job market is right now, but for future reference: am I being underpaid?
