no dental insurance so went to the wvu dental school and seemed like they knew what they was doing but the suggested a root canal but when the doctor looked at the x-ray he suggested the tooth be extracted. common ? said tooth was cracked

I’ve taken Biology, I’m in Chemistry, and next year I’m taking Biology 2. For electives, I’m taking Principles of the Biomedical Sciences and next year Anatomy. Do I need to take the electives to get into dental school or am I fine with just the core classes?

Yesterday I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled. The oral surgeon (resident) ordered a post-operative x-ray to see if any root was left.

I go to the dental school for my dental work. Most everyone is a student. A radiology student took the x-ray. I had to have 3 in all because the first 2 weren’t usable. During the first x-ray she forgot to put the apron on me.

Could a single dental x-ray w/o the apron cause in problems for me?

If you’re trying to get into dental school and you have been denied, are there special programs that "guarantee" you to be accepted? I’ve heard some dental schools will "make deals" with applicants, saying the applicants will be guaranteed a spot if they do certain things (for example, take certain classes, get their GPA to a certain point, DAT at a particular score).

I ended up with a D in physics in my freshman year in a university. My other grades are just fine like I have A- in chem 1 and B+ in Chem 2, B+ in Calculus 3 and i AP’ed out of my Biology and Calculus 1 and 2. Do I still have a shot for dental school?.
