I keep moving my jaw left to right and then up and around and semi-clicking it and biting down compulsively. I have braces so I can’t chew gum so I think I’m doing all these weird things instead. I’m concerned I’m permanently damaging the joints. Any ideas on how to stop?
The dentist put a temporary tooth on in the meantime and it looks TERRIBLE. Is he a bad dentist or is this normal because the tooth is only a temporary replacement? it is whiter than all my other teeth and looks like a BIG square chiclet. (the gum) I’m worried because the veneer is going on 5 days before my wedding reception!
I hate my teeth and smile so much, I had braces for about 4 years, And I don’t know why but My teeth are so SMALL! And really weird like see through looking in some places of them, since they are so small when I smile you get ALOT OF GUM and I hate it! I’m just wondering how much they cost? And what all they can do?
I can feel a couple of my bottom front teeth slightly loose (can barely tell unless im really looking) with some gum seperation…i can not afford a dentist for another 6 months..i have been using listerine and the new crest toothpaste along with flossing and electric toothbrush…will my gums get better on their own? is there more i can do besides this?? im not in any pain..just concerned…never even had a cavity!!
sorry…my gums do not hurt, i can feel them and no..they do not bleed..
My top wisdom teeth are just coming in, and now on the bottom row, I have a round black/brownish spot on top of the gum just behind my last tooth. It feels hard, but doesn’t really hurt. Is that another wisdom tooth?
The last few times I have flown I have suffered from a pretty serious pain in my jaw. This only happens on the descend for landing and it lasts for a little while even after I get off the plane. I am flying again next week and I’m wondering if there’s any way to prevent the pain? It’s really bad, so please, any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have tried gum, It doesn’t seem to do much.
On one of my back teeth on the bottom, the side of it has chipped a little bit, and now it’s kind of sensitive. The thing is, it isn’t chipped enough to get a filling or crown, but it’s enough that the gum is slightly exposed.
Really am looking for someone outstanding in dentistry. I know it’s expensive so I just want the best. I don’t want to end up with teeth that look like ‘Chicklet Gum.’
Ok, i have a crown on my tooth and i was eating gum on my crown when my crown was loose,
then i heard a crack then it started bleeding!!!
I think my crown is stuck to my tooth !!
My dad is saying just take it out!!!

I have recently got my braces off, to realise i still have gap in between my 2 front teeth that the braces wouldnt fix. this is because i have rather wide teeth, so down the bottom of the tooth there is no gap, but closer to the gum there is. is there anyway to hide this gap without getting braces again.. and something that will allow me to still wear the retainer i was given.
