Hey everyone! Ok, so so next week, I’m going to my orthodontist to get my tooth bonded. Last time I went he said that I’m going to "get my right cuspid bonded." What does that mean? I still have my braces on. I’m 11. Thanks!

My orthodontist said i may have gum disease because my gums have inflamed heaps and are growing on my braces

it’s impossible to floss with swollen gums so how can i take care of my teeth and gums. And also does that mean i have that disease for the rest of my life or can it go away?????

I brush my teeth everyday and i use mouth wash but i dont floss :/

I chipped my tooth a while back and after I get my braces off in a few weeks my orthodontist is also going to fill my chipped tooth in. If I tried white strips or other store bought products to whiten teeth would the work on my perviously chipped tooth. I’m almost sure it’ll work anyways but I’m just asking to be sure. What do you think?

My orthodontist thinks I have TMJ (a joint dysfunction in your jaw) & my jaw constantly locks all the time. I have a part in the school play where I have to sing in the upper octave so I need to create more space in my mouth. I’ve always had trouble with this but I decided to see if there’s any techniques I could use to help me. Thanks.

When I was getting my braces off my orthodontist unknowingly began shaving a tooth, which happened to be a central incisor, that had bonding on it. As the bonding immediately began to break apart he had to shave much more then he expected and then had to shave the other central incisor and shorten its length to match the other tooth. Now it looks unnatural. Can bonding lengthen these teeth again?

One of my central tooth is chipped (central teeth are your two most frontal and centered teeth on the top row), but its lengthier and extends more than my other teeth so i would just have to get it trimmed (well get both centrals trimmed). Would this be a process considered under tooth bonding?

Also, who does tooth bonding an orthodontist or a dentist?

I got a question about tooth bonding, do I have to go to the Orthodontist or the Dentist to apply tooth bonding? Also how much will it cost to fix a gap tooth which is around 3mm? I live in the Bay Area so it might cost more than normal. Thanks for info

The orthodontist says that I have an overbite, but it’s not noticeable at all unless I bite down completely. My parents are making me get some sort of treatment, and I’ve got a great dental plan, and I absolutely abhor braces. What are some good alternatives that can fix overbite? Surgeries, too.
