I did the Zoom whitening a few wekes ago. It did produce extream sensativity in my bottom two front teeth, so much so that I had to take a pain pill.
A few days ago, I noticed that one of them is truning gray!!! Can the whitening process cause this? My dentist didn’t say anything about this being a possibility.
Is there anything to reverse the grayness???
Before the bleach was applied, a full set if xrays was taken by the dentist.
They showed no damage to the root nor enamel.

I have no stains on my enamel and it is very good enamel (hard and shiny)but my dentin has a yellow color and I was told by a dentist this particular process would penetrate past the enamel and whiten the dentin. Any further technical explanation on this particular Zoom Advanced process would be appreciated OR if anyone knows how to whiten Dentin?

My husband got me Zoom teeth whitening for Valentines Day. He had his done Wednesday and his teeth were so sore and painful and the inside of his lips were burned. Does this usually happen. Is this bad for your teeth. My teeth are pretty white anyway and I’m thinking about backing out. I guess I’m panicking a little. I don’t want to do anything that weakens or hurts my teeth!
It was done in a dental office.

I’ve always been very self-conscious about the colour of my teeth. I’m fed up with the yellow tint I have had for years. For better teeth I have cut out candy, soda, teas, and I’ve also started brushing every time after i eat (matter it be a snack, meal, or even when I drink. I’m paranoid about any kind of particle that could potentially harm my teeth) instead of when i wake up and before i go to bed. Still, after months of all of this my teeth are still stained. I don’t have to money for Zoom, the laser whitening system that dentists use, but I’d do anything to get them whiter. So, would anyone be able to recommend a good toothpaste (the price of that doesn’t matter) or something that would help without harming my teeth?

Is Zoom whitening worth the money?
Thanks for the information. I will consider it greatly. Thats why I posted this question on here. I didnt want them preaching to me about zoom just because they sell it.
I had a question about the trays. Because they are fitted to your teeth, once you put the gel in it, does it cause irregular whitening because its being pressed? How does saliva affect the gel?
